BARMEDMAN MODIFIED TWILIGHT TRACTOR PULL

BARMEDMAN MODIFIED TWILIGHT TRACTOR PULL

Are you ready for some hot machinery, burning dust and hard grinding action? Then you’ll be right at home at the 8th Annual Barmedman Modified Tractor Pull. This event, which is part of the NSW championship round, will be held on Saturday 3 March at the Barmedman Sports and Recreation Ground commencing at 4pm.

If you’re new to tractor pulling, just imagine the power you’d get if you crossed a hot rod with a V8 tractor and you will have some idea of what these big machines can do! Even the names are tough - Mad Dog, Riverina Screamer and Tossa. You wouldn’t want to run into them in a paddock on a dark night, would you?

Up to 40 competitors are expected to battle it out in the dirt as they fight to win in their class. The tractors pull a weighted sled along a 100 metre track and the one that pulls the longest distance is the winner.

The evening will be fun for the whole family. Tractor lovers can visit the pits and take a close look at the powerful machines. If that isn’t enough, they can wander through the Show ’n’ Shine exhibition of hot rods and other amazing vehicles. There will be a ’Beaut Ute’ and a ‘Best Esky’ competition, market stalls, rides for the children and plenty of food on offer.

Camping will be available at the ground.
